What is an eBook?

An eBook, as defined by Wikipedia.com, is “an e-text that forms the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book”.
Basically, it is a digital copy of a book.



Why are the eBooks here downloaded in .zip format?

The eBook is compressed to .zip format for faster downloading speed. Upon downloading, you will have to unzip it and extract the eBook out.



Is the eBook here free for download?

Yes, the eBooks in Goody Books are free for download. However, they are only the sample versions: In order to obtain the full version, you will have to pay for it.



How do I activate the full version in the eBook that I have downloaded?

When you have opened the sample version, just click on “Buy This eBook Now!” on the top of the eBook. You will be diverted to a payment processing website whereby you can make payment with your Credit Card / Debit Card.



The eBook requires access to the internet when I opened it. Why?

We have a digital rights management system (DRM system) to protect our books from unauthorized copying. Part of the system requires the eBook to be connected to the internet.



I have activated the book and it works well on my computer. However, when I send it to my friend, it requires another activation key. Why?

As part of our digital rights management system (DRM system), each purchase can only be activated on one computer. However, once a sample version has been activated as a full version in a computer, it will stay forever as a full version.
Nevertheless, if there is any valid reason for a need to re-activate on another computer (accidentally activating the eBook on a friend’s computer, etc), please email us at ebook@goodybooks.com and we will issue you with a new activation key.



Why is your eBook in .exe format instead of .pdf format?

Our eBook is, technically, in .pdf file. However, due to our special digital management system (DRM system) to prevent unauthorized copying, it is converted into a .exe.



How much does it cost to convert a sample version eBook to full version eBook?

One book will cost $5.90 USD. It is about SGD $7.90 or RM18.50.
3 in 1 eBook (Life Stories by Low Kay Hwa) will cost $15.90 USD. It is about SGD $22.00 or RM 50.
4 in 1 eBook (Love Stories by Low Kay Hwa) will cost $19.90 USD. It is about SGD $27 or RM 63.
7 in 1 eBook will cost $29.90 USD. It is about SGD $41.90 or RM99.00.



I am not from Singapore or Malaysia. Can I still purchase the full version eBook?

Yes, you can. Our payment processor accepts international Credit Card / Debit Card.




Can I read the eBook on any eBook readers or on my cell phone?

Our eBook will not work on a portable electronic eBook reader or on a cell phone.



Is it safe to make payment with Credit Card / Debit Card?

Yes, it is very safe. We use Paypal, the largest and safest online payment processor in the world, as our payment processor. All datas are encrypted and protected.



Can I do a refund?

Here at Goody Books, we always enforce this mindset: Money can be earned back but customer’s happiness cannot. Therefore, once you have purchased our book, we offer a lifetime refund policy.
Just email info@goodybooks.com should you want a refund, and we will refund you in full without any questions asked.
